We have been collecting shoes for our 2012 send off!
We will be sending some of our collected shoes to Dance Base in Edinburgh, Scotland. They will be received by dancers who are in the Outreach Programme. Read more about Dance Base on our NEWS page or on their website: http://www.dancebase.co.uk/outreach/
In 2007, Heels In Harmony sent over 100 pairs of dance shoes to Haiti. With support from local dancers and Allegro Performing Arts Centre, we were able to collect all sizes and styles of shoes for the dancers abroad. A big thank you to the Victoria Arts Council who made a donation to the project as well as the Compassionate Warehouse who made it possible for the shoes to reach the dancers.
